Spring Series – June 6, 2026

Saturday's racing brought two more races in tricky, shifty conditions — near-nothing breeze at times, light fills, and some powerful gusts right as race 2 wrapped up

One reminder: this was the last 11am start. From June 13th, the fleet moves to 1pm to let the Watch Hill afternoon breeze fill in. See you out there.

Wednesday Night Race – WH15s | June 3, 2025

8 boats raced on a beautiful night with a medium-light breeze. Rainbow and Cactus Pie made strong season debuts, taking 1st and 2nd on the water. Hi Toots! holds the series lead with 4 points, while Goose and Bahama Gal are tied at 7 — separated only by tiebreaker. Rainbow slots in at 4th despite missing the first race.

Watch Hill 15 Fleet – Racing Starts!

Three days of racing down, and the fleet is looking healthy. A record (at least in my memory) 8 boats turned out for Memorial Day on May 24 – conditions started rainy but cleared nicely for two good races. The Wednesday night race on May 27 nearly didn't happen; the wind was so light the RC considered abandoning, but the fleet raced under a gorgeous sky. May 31's races were moved from Saturday to Sunday so folks could attend Bud Brooks's Celebration of Life – a fitting tribute from a close community.

On the water, Hi Toots! (15) has been the boat to beat, leading both the Spring Series and Wednesday Night standings. Goose (22) edges Tight Squeeze (24) for second in the Spring Series on tiebreaker, with a tight battle all the way down the fleet.

More racing ahead – stay tuned.
