Sept 17 & 20 (Wed and Sat)


A blustery midweek race on September 17 saw steady winds in the teens and eight boats on the line, with Goose taking first under the guidance of sailmaker Randy Shore. By Saturday, September 20, conditions turned unpredictable, with winds shifting wildly in strength and direction. Hi Toots! capitalized on the chaos to secure two first-place finishes, while Randy joined Bahama Gal to advise on future sail plans. The fleet looks ahead to next season with new spinnakers set to bring fresh color to the course.

Fall Series – September 13

Three light-air races in the bay under sunny skies (courses 1313X, 1313X, and 1XYC). Only four boats competed, finishing around 1:15pm. With Dennis away, George Nicholas led the RC.

Fuller and Fall Series starts

The fleet saw two short races in challenging conditions—starting with gusts up to 18 knots, dropping to 5 knots mid-race, and building again on the way in. Six boats competed:

  • Race 1 (Fuller Labor Day Race & Fall Series #1):Hi Toots! (#15) took first place.
  • Race 2:Bahama Gal (#10) claimed the win.

Great turnout, tricky breeze, and a solid start to the Fall Series!

Saturday 8-23 - goes off with a bang

Sunny skies and a fresh breeze made for great racing conditions. #24 won Race 1, while #15 took Race 2. A collision at the leeward mark in Race 2 between Windward and Bahama Gal led to Windward’s retirement after an uncontested protest. The August Series remains tight heading into the final races.
