July ninth’s Wednesday night series race began with beautiful conditions and light wind that shifted throughout the evening. A rolling fog bank, creeping onto the water from Foster Cove, strengthened the breeze and made for an exciting yacht club finish for all ten participating WH15s. After an exciting start, Rainbow (#5) and Cactus Pie (#9) flew through the mooring field for first and second place, as Bahama Gal (#10) came back from an over-early restart to finish in third.
